Nostalgic Bridal Portraits at Hide and Seek Coffee, Petaling Street

When you just want to let your hair down and have a good time, even for something as important as your bridal portraits, go ahead and do it. We are completely enamoured with this charming couple’s bold and fun personality, which comes through perfectly in their album. Kudos to Jessielyee Photography for this fantastic album. While discussing the location for the shoot, the couple knew immediately that Chinatown would be ideal, with its vibrant surroundings and old school cafés. They also visited Hide & Seek Café, where they changed into a cheongsam-esque dress and green suit respectively to match the Chinese New Year vibe. “It was hard to be calm…

Indie Portraits With A Playful Twist at The Great Madras Hotel Singapore

Hands down the best indie game face we’ve seen in a pre-wedding album, this was a breath of fresh air indeed, and we’ll tell you why. Shot at the unconventional The Great Madras Hotel Singapore, the photos certainly reflected the couple’s desire to create something indie and playful, in a flavour that was truly their own. They were not afraid to challenge the norm, with their funky outfits and zero public displays of affection. Instead, they went for a somewhat “disconnected” feel, aiming for “nothing touchy, yet being emotionally connected”. “That,” said Bloc Memoire Photography, “was honesty to the core.”

Wedding Portraits in Punggol Beach and Lorong Halus Park, Singapore

A former national swimmer and an up-and-coming trainer and fitness personality, this couple has done well to document their chemistry and stunning good looks on film – as they prepare for life together as man and wife. The album was shot at the popular Punggol Beach, with its crashing waves, and Lorong Halus Park in Singapore. Victoria and Bryan looked radiant, and the natural setting only enhanced the shots and brought out their affection for each other. What a splendid reel that will serve as a beautiful reminder of their journey! Many thanks for these wonderful shots, Jonlin Photography.

An Earthy, Blush Pink Church Wedding In Singapore

Eucalyptus leaves, chosen for their scent and deep green colour, were the main decorative point for this wedding, and what a beautiful way to tie the décor together! From the cake and the decorations to the bouquets and the invitations, hues of blush pink contrasted beautifully against the rich green shades. Set against the backdrop of a classic church that was filled with natural light, this wedding was simple yet elegant, nature-focussed yet modern. The couple looked absolutely breathtaking in their attire and every bit in love with each other. Many thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for this beautiful set of photos!

    Two Parts Of A Whole

Two people who come together in a marital union often bring their own stories to the relationship, as they balance each other out in personality, interests and choices. Together, they’re a force to be reckoned with! We love this truly creative stop motion video that Funkydali has put together for Halina and Amir, which showcases their personalities against the gorgeous colonial backdrop of Kuala Lumpur and the dreamy landscape off the coast. Complemented by the bride’s impeccable taste, these bridal portraits and engagement video perfectly tell their love story.

What’s better than a party filled with vibrant colours, whimsical elements and a tropical theme? A tropical wedding party, of course! From the gilded pineapples to the poolside elements and amenities, a pool party right in the heart of the city would be the perfect setting for you to celebrate with loved ones. Great Storytelling With Colour Coordinated Outfits

An interesting location and the colour coordinated outfits make this set of photos worth mentioning. We love everything about it. Funky Dali, you’ve nailed it once again! Eunice: “We knew from day one that we weren’t going to play any videos at our wedding so we wanted our pre-wedding photos to tell a story. Plus we weren’t into the whole posing-for-hours-in-our-wedding-gear thing, especially not in our weather! “Funky Dali did an amazing job, coming up with the concept of breaking it all up into chapters that covered a little something about us as individuals and as a couple. They also managed to capture the whole he said/she said of how…

    Blowing Kisses

The burst of colour in these DIY and paper-themed bridal portraits is really perfect for this arty couple. The GIF stop-motions were carefully crafted, and they are by far one of our favourites. GIFs are the next big art form and we just love how this couple incorporated them into their portraits. Find out more about their thought process in our magazine. Superhero Ball

Somehow, Alex and James’ story feels like the picture that we have always wanted to paint for soon-to-wed couples. Celebrate each other, be yourself and have loads of fun. We don’t know what brought them together but they are truly perfect for each other. They put aside the traditions of a typical wedding, choosing instead to walk a new and narrow path in their Converse sneakers, and celebrating their nuptials as a day for themselves. They both love superheroes, playing games and doing crazy things together. So they built their wedding around that theme. The New Children Museum in San Diego was the perfect venue. The main colours that anchored…
