Hello, Adventure: Bridal Portraits at Faroe Islands, Denmark

Talk about a sweet escape into the mountains for the bridal portraits of a lifetime! This couple clearly loves adventure, and their willingness to travel all the way to the Faroe Islands in Denmark for this special shoot speaks to their energy and spirit. Within a week of getting in touch with their chosen photographer, they had booked their flights to Copenhagen and the Faroe Islands. The photoshoot began with rain, mist, fog and extreme winds, all of which usually sends shivers up a photographer’s spine, but for Jane of hellojanelee, it spelled great news. “So what if it messes up the bride and groom’s hair? I love the gloomy…

Amazing Ocean View Wedding at COMO Point Yamu, Phuket

We were absolutely floored by this wedding venue! COMO Point Yamu in Phuket, Thailand, could not have been more perfect for this beautiful couple and their guests. She, a mountain lover, and he, a water feature enthusiast, were enthralled by the lovely compound during their recce. Thanks, hellojanelee, for sharing this with us. Located at the tip of Cape Yamu overlooking the Andaman Sea and Phang Nga Bay, COMO features designer interiors, splendid surroundings, and a cliff side garden with magnificent views of the ocean. It was the very laidback yet lux aesthetic the couple desired.

Vintage Flavoured Engagement Shoot in Cameron Highlands

Very often, we come across a set of images that leave us mesmerised by their raw beauty and the sheer simplicity of the intent behind it. This album is one of them. We love the way her crimson gown infuses life into the indoor and outdoor settings, and the couple’s enjoyment of the rolling hills of Cameron Highlands, Pahang. We love the little vintage shop sporting all things antique and classically Malaysian. Tastefully set up and shot, they are a superb addition to the photos. We smile at the couple’s beautiful cross-cultural relationship, and the way the energy and characteristics of their individual cultures come together in tender moments like…

A Casual and Intimate Farm Chic Wedding at Janda Baik

Is there anything more intimate than tying the knot at a little farm set on a hill, surrounded by your family and friends? Never mind the vibrant green hues of Mother Nature, the cosy wooden textures of the rustic barn, the simple decorations and the amazing food, the stars of this wedding were undoubtedly the newlyweds and the joyous celebration of their love! We really like how this wedding gave the couple and their loved ones an opportunity to get right back to the basics of nature. Many thanks to hellojanelee for capturing this lovely set of photos.

Sweet And Whimsical DIY Décor Bridal Portraits

Bridal portraits often double as an announcement to let your friends and family know that you’re going to soon tie the knot, as well as an introduction to who you are as a couple. We love how Grace and Kenny had their bridal portraits done at home – no rules and at no cost! With the added chance to repurpose their décor items at their wedding, they went sweet with desserts and paper flowers, and whimsy and random with their fencing gear, all tied together with fresh flowers, wooden decorative elements, and so much joy and laughter. Thanks to hellojanelee for these incredibly sweet bridal portraits.

An Old School Chinese Wedding Ceremony

How often do we get to see an old school Chinese wedding, with all the drama of full traditional bridal attire including the coronet? This couple embraced their roots and culture for their chip san leong, starting with the gatecrashing ceremony of the groom and his groomsmen to pick up the bride, and finishing with a tea ceremony. The result was not only a joyous union, but also colourful and bright photos reflective of the mood on the day – thanks to hellojanelee!

This couple infused their incredibly sweet wedding with their own style and pulled it off with the help of friends and family – from the decorations and calligraphy aisle to the wedding cake and catering. The pops of bright yellow against the clean white and green hues were perfectly accentuated by the tinges of gold. Not forgetting the little details such as the cute patterns, quirky notes, moustache boutonnières and colourful socks.
