A Sensual Styled Shoot That Shows the Confidence of a Calligrapher/Barrister in Hong Kong

What a dreamy and inspirational styled shoot! How do you capture the soft and poetic side of a calligrapher who also happens to be a tough, confident barrister? In these images, the photographer has managed to capture both aspects of the model’s personality, not to mention her beauty. Thank you for these lovely shots, Tomek Cheung Photography! Our beauty lies within, and this is an example of how being at ease with oneself is key to exuding it. All parties involved in this shoot wore outfits that complemented the theme and vibe, with every detail seen to and no stone left unturned. We love the versatility showcased by the wedding…

A Simple Church Ceremony in a Magnificent Cathedral in Hong Kong

We love the beautiful and classy touches in this wedding that was held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Church in Hong Kong. We even got a glimpse of the bridal couple and the bride with her maid of honour enjoying some sparkly at the Island Shangri-La Hotel before they set out. Thanks for these amazing shots, Chester Kher Creations! Imagine waking up to this amazing view of the city skyline on the morning of your wedding, and then saying your vows at this magnificent cathedral that is also one of the most sought after wedding venues in the country. One of the best things about getting married in…

Minimalist Outdoor Engagement Portraits at Sai Kung, Hong Kong

We love these engagement portraits! Shot in Hong Kong’s Sai Kung Peninsula, which is known for its quaint fishing villages, hiking paths, beaches and mountain scenery, each and every frame is refreshingly pure and true to the couple and their affection for each other. The bride-to-be was gorgeous in a minimalist, spaghetti strap V-neck satin and taffeta gown. She later changed into a second outfit, a halter dress with a sexy open back, while her groom stayed fittingly dapper in his grey suit. Pastel hued flowers in the bride’s bouquet provided soft touches of colour that helped to bring the neutral shades to life. Finally, the couple went casual, their…

Well done, Chester Kher Creations! “The couple first met in Kota Kinabalu, and then dated while they were living in Kuala Lumpur,” shared Chester Kher Creations. “This shoot marks the beginning of a new chapter for them.” We just love the personalisation that they infused into their photos. Artistic and Nostalgic Wedding Portraits in Hong Kong

We love the artistry in this wedding portrait album. There’s something romantic about nostalgic wedding portraits with that film noir-esque feel, the sort we might see in our grandparents’ photo albums. Many thanks to Samuel Goh Photography for these splendid shots. For Hui Jin and Shiu Yuen, the effort they put into their shoot was worth it. Their wedding portraits were shot in several locations in Hong Kong, including a rooftop in Sham Shui Po, Oi Man Village, the High Island Reservoir East Dam, Montane Mansion and Parkes Street. Simply gorgeous!

Seeing Red At A Garden Wedding Held At Beas River Country Club, Hong Kong

A compatible couple is often evidenced by the ideals and thoughtfulness they put into their wedding. Since En Li and Andy were going to have a conventional church-and-hotel wedding in Kuala Lumpur later on, they opted for an outdoor winter ceremony in the concrete jungle of Hong Kong for something different. Held at the exclusive Beas River Country Club, the newlyweds’ thoughtfulness came through in the form of heatpacks in personalised pouches as wedding favours, so guests could stay warm in the chilly, but very lovely, open. Amid the tastefully selected décor in hues of Marsala red, family and friends enjoyed the posh venue and rejoiced in their union. And…

An Intimate, Modern Garden Wedding In Hong Kong

When it comes to infusing your personality into your wedding, intimate celebrations are the perfect opportunity. For this bride and groom, everything was a reflection of what they loved as a couple and about each other. From including calligraphy into their art and invitations to giving tea as their wedding favours – their caterer even created a special mocktail for their wedding featuring a tea infusion! Despite being held in a garden, the wedding had a clean and modern aesthetic. The bride wore a chic contoured yet classic dress, and a metallic hairclip to complete her look. The groom was a professional musician so he and his friends took turns…

An Intimate Scene In The Woods

Imagine a clearing in the middle of a forest. Sunlight filters softly through the trees overhead and there is a sense of perfect peace. You are alone with your beloved, and time stands still as the both of you lock eyes. This set of bridal portraits, taken in a nature centre in Hong Kong, tells the story of two lovers sharing a private escape in a forgotten secret garden. With a delicate palate of dusky blues, leafy greens and the palest of pinks, touched with subtle golds and wooden elements, the rustic styling perfectly complemented the backdrop. Hand-lettered stationery, a lace parasol and the vintage-styled gown added to the classic…

    Quintessentially Hong Kong

Inspired by the Hong Kong movie ‘Almost a Love Story’, these bridal portraits featured the old world charm of Hong Kong as the perfect backdrop. As the couple is from Singapore, they used their bridal portrait session as an opportunity to inject a sense of wonder and play into their shoot, while also discovering the little nooks and crannies of the city – from the narrow corridors and steps to the junk boat by the harbour. We love the exposed brick walls and art as well; many thanks to Brian Ho of thegaleria for this set!

Styled Sunset Shoot By The Beach

Never underestimate the splendour and magic of natural light – it is the one thing that immediately brings an entire look together, softening any edges and causing everything to glow in dreaminess and warmth. Complemented by the pastel hues of blue and pink and adding to the demure, romantic mood, this bride’s look was kept natural with hints of gold. Combined with the other elements such as the delicate illustrations and the floral arch, everything came together just perfectly. Thanks to Jenny Tong Photography for this gorgeous and dreamy set of styled photos.

    Escape from Chaos to Tranquility

Sometimes it’s best to just get away from the hustle and bustle of a crowded city and find some peace and quiet. Who knew such a space even existed in a densely populated urban landscape like Hong Kong’s? With the emerald green waters and panoramic view of the mountains and coastlines serving as the picture perfect backdrop, the rose quartz dress with its floral embellishments certainly stood out to create a gorgeously dreamy bridal portrait. Many thanks to King Law of Savour Productions for this beautifully styled bridal shoot.
