As we mark a year since Covid-19 came into our lives, we also celebrate with this bride and groom who managed to squeeze in their nuptials before the world, and our lives as we knew it, changed. Their celebration was so intimate, cosy and full of love! In lieu of wedding entertainment, the bride’s family performed, which made it even more meaningful. The elegance of their beach wedding transformed into a marquee reception was subtle yet classy, made complete with a colour palette of white, dusty pink and sage. Many thanks to Sugar and Spice Events for sharing and Manoj Photography for capturing this sweet wedding! Jia-Wei: “There were so…

An Intimate Dusty Blue and Gold Wedding at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur

We absolutely loved this classic, simple and intimate wedding at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur. With a colour theme of dusty blue and gold topped with hues of green, it feels like a sort of grownup Disney set with a modern twist. Thank you for these brilliant photos, Arch and Vow! A number of things were personalised, including the wedding favours, where each guest’s name was embossed onto emerald agate pieces. These were chosen partly because green agate is believed to bring luck to its owner. The bride also wrote each guest’s name for the place cards, and made the newlyweds’ vow book. She shared: “We had several incredible memorable…

A Glittery Rustic Luxe Wedding At Tanarimba Janda Baik

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that a wedding is essentially a giant party – that is, if you set the right tone. These newlyweds went for contrast: glamorous yet rustic, classic yet modern, lavish yet intimate. It was a two-day celebration for their friends and family, and everyone clearly had an amazing time. The bride looked stunning in her glittery gold gown, which, together with the lush décor, high ceilings and wooden interiors, gave the wedding a rustic luxe feel. The colours were chosen with a spring theme in mind, bringing different shades of pink, fuchsia, yellow and orange together.
