    Jenny Packham 2019 Bridal Collection

Drawing style cues from the Jazz Age and the “heady and glamorous scenes of a twilight society” found in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novels, British label Jenny Packham’s newest bridal collection was significant in more ways than one. “It’s our 30th birthday – 30 whole years,” the designer revealed. “We usually show bridal in New York, but on this occasion, I knew we needed to celebrate in London with the whole team.” The setting might have been different, but the label wowed audiences as usual. From ethereal to elegant, the bridal gowns were rich in style and detail, with Packham’s signature bias-cut, cap-sleeve ivory satin gowns taking centre stage. We love!

A Glamorous Affair In The Ritz-Carlton And The Majestic Hotel, KL

This was a two-day event starting with a simple ceremony and lunch reception at The Ritz Carlton, followed by a beautiful dinner reception at The Majestic Hotel. Both these hotels have that colonial interior that is actually quite hard not to love. The interesting thing about this wedding, which was carefully planned by My Wedding Planner, was that there was no colour theme. Instead, Wishing Tree created lighthearted, beautiful floral arrangements with light pastel blooms. Thanks, Adam Ong, for capturing this beautiful wedding in photos.

Jenny Packham Spring 2015 Bridal Collection

In the 1930s, the dawn of colour photography, British photographer Madame Yevonde created a series of portraits of society ladies dressed in the classical costumes of mythological heroines such as Helen of Troy, Persephone and Venus. Today, inspired by those photos, Jenny Packham’s Spring 2015 Bridal Collection is soft, romantic and ultra feminine, beautifully crafted with sumptuous silk chiffon and ethereal tulle. Celestial capes, whimsical tiered hemlines and exquisite veils add a romantic, mythical affection to the pieces, which combine soft buttermilks and warm blush caramels with the traditional, classic ivory. Jenny Packham is available in Singapore exclusively at Trinity Gallery.

    Jenny Packham Spring 2014 Collection

For this 2014 collection, the designer took inspiration from the Belle Époque, or ‘beautiful era’, of the early 20th century. Channelling the spirit of Edwardian fashion, the dresses’ flowing silhouettes with their delicate embellishments embody Packham’s signature vintage elegance. Exquisite French lace is adorned with delicate silk flowers and twinkling crystals in a spectrum of antique metallic silvers and champagnes. We love how her dresses always do right by a woman’s body; it is no wonder Jenny Packham remains a celebrity favourite to this day. Jenny Packham is available exclusively in Singapore at Trinity Gallery.
