A Pastel Indoor Garden Wedding At Lightbox, Sungai Buloh
From the bride’s lovely floral ‘cheongsam’ to the amazing floral crescent and photo wall, the abundance of flowers and greenery certainly elevated this wedding to the next level. The floral elements were not the only standouts in the décor, however. The romantic, semi-circle layout of the ceremony that allowed for the hall to be “flipped” for the reception was a clever touch. This has become the more sought-after option, as having the ceremony and reception in the same space minimises movement and makes the logistics easier. In Covid-19 times, this is a definite plus. Against the minimalist colour theme, the exposed brick wall and draped cloths were an interesting contrast…

A Breathtaking Minimalist Wedding in Santorini, Greece
Some places in the world are just made for picture perfect postcards, and Santorini, Greece, is one of them. Situated by the Mediterranean Sea, Santorini’s gorgeous whitewashed buildings are set against the most breathtaking backdrop, where the azure sea meets cloudless blue skies. Now imagine an excited wedding party ready to celebrate the marriage of these newlyweds, and you’ve got yourself a destination wedding they won’t soon forget. Many thanks to Ben Yew Photography for capturing this tastefully simple and traditionally romantic wedding!

Gorgeous White and Gold Themed Wedding at The Andaman Langkawi
They wanted a beach wedding right from the get-go – but oh, what an adventure it was! On the day of their wedding, they woke up to dark clouds overhead and decided to wait it out. Torrential rain fell as the guests and groom’s party gathered in the lobby bar, waiting patiently. Eventually, the skies cleared and the sun began to creep through the clouds – slowly but surely, the long-awaited wedding ceremony began to come together. Thank you for capturing all of this beautifully, Zach Chin of Munkeat Studio!

Modern Oriental Bridal Portraits at Alila Yangshuo, China
Guilin is a popular travel destination, but who would have thought it would be such a great bridal portrait destination too? We were completely floored by the beauty in these photos. A mark of an amazing photographer is the ability to play with light, dimensions and framing, and translate that into their photos. Here, the use of architectural breezeblocks and the various textures of nature helped to create the perfect backdrop. Louis Gan Photography is indeed one of the best out there – colour us impressed!

A Modern and Chic Multicoloured Peranakan Wedding at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur
We’re so used to associating white and clean neutrals with weddings that it’s refreshing to witness a wedding filled to the brim with colour, flavour and laughter! The whitewashed walls of The Majestic Hotel served as the perfect backdrop for this wedding, with its gorgeous pops of colour and intricate patterns and designs. How about that Peranakan shophouse backdrop for a photobooth? We were gobsmacked by the attention to detail. Many thanks to Ben Yew Photography for capturing these absolutely breathtaking photos.

A White and Green Minimalist Elegant Wedding at Metal Bees
Minimalist elegance is a popular wedding theme for good reason. Clean cut and semi-industrial spaces like Metal Bees Production House in Petaling Jaya make brilliant venues for couples who, like these lovebirds, desire to keep things in perspective by spending less time on prep and more time on preparing for their marriage. Thank you for these superb shots, Louis Gan of MunKeat Studio!

DIY Navy and Blush Wedding at Rosa Malacca Hotel
We love how simple, classic and elegant this navy and blush wedding was – nothing over the top, just a sensible colour palette that provided a gorgeous backdrop for a lovely evening of a lifetime. “We always wanted a simple yet rustic outdoor courtyard for our wedding,” said the bride, Lin. “After a long search, we found Rosa Malacca Hotel and thought we’d struck gold!” Many thanks to CJ Photography for these amazing shots! The venue was cosy with a sense of privacy, and the couple easily embellished it to suit their colour theme of navy blue and blush – with a touch of rose gold. Lin found plenty of…
