An Old Hollywood Glam Wedding at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur

We just love the abundance of flowers in this fantastic wedding at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Imagine the rich scents that must have filled this ballroom, which was so beautifully set up by Wishing Tree and La Art Floral & Events. Thank you for these terrific shots, Chong Yee Photography! The bride had always envisioned her wedding to be glamorous and elegant – a bit of an Old Hollywood vibe. She certainly achieved that here, with the flowers coming together with the touches of gold, blush, cream and rich burgundy to create an amazing vintage ambience. The Four Seasons’ grand ballroom was perfect for the do, thanks to its…

A Modern and Chic Multicoloured Peranakan Wedding at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur

We’re so used to associating white and clean neutrals with weddings that it’s refreshing to witness a wedding filled to the brim with colour, flavour and laughter! The whitewashed walls of The Majestic Hotel served as the perfect backdrop for this wedding, with its gorgeous pops of colour and intricate patterns and designs. How about that Peranakan shophouse backdrop for a photobooth? We were gobsmacked by the attention to detail. Many thanks to Ben Yew Photography for capturing these absolutely breathtaking photos.

Dreamy Peach on White Garden Wedding at Puncak Dani Bungalow, Pahang

This is such a fantastic wedding at Puncak Dani Bungalow in Pahang. We love the sense of freshness, and the creative décor in white and peach tones. The bride looked amazing in her beautiful long-sleeved lace gown, and her groom was indeed handsome in a blue suit. In her hand, the bride held a classy bouquet of blush and green blooms that gently added colour to the overall look. Thanks for these gorgeous captures, Louis Loo Photography!

Seeing Red At A Garden Wedding Held At Beas River Country Club, Hong Kong

A compatible couple is often evidenced by the ideals and thoughtfulness they put into their wedding. Since En Li and Andy were going to have a conventional church-and-hotel wedding in Kuala Lumpur later on, they opted for an outdoor winter ceremony in the concrete jungle of Hong Kong for something different. Held at the exclusive Beas River Country Club, the newlyweds’ thoughtfulness came through in the form of heatpacks in personalised pouches as wedding favours, so guests could stay warm in the chilly, but very lovely, open. Amid the tastefully selected décor in hues of Marsala red, family and friends enjoyed the posh venue and rejoiced in their union. And…

A Navy Blue And Blush Pink Rustic Wedding At DoubleTree By Hilton, JB

Rustic yet elegant with a sprinkle of glittery glamour – this wedding was equal parts timeless and modern. The contrasting theme colours of navy blue and sweet blush pink had wooden elements such as the groom’s wooden bowtie and the groomsmen’s brown suspenders to add a rustic touch, with gold as the subtle thread tying it all together from day to night. Many thanks to Yung Yaw of MunKeat Studio for capturing this beautiful set of photos.

A Glittery Rustic Luxe Wedding At Tanarimba Janda Baik

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that a wedding is essentially a giant party – that is, if you set the right tone. These newlyweds went for contrast: glamorous yet rustic, classic yet modern, lavish yet intimate. It was a two-day celebration for their friends and family, and everyone clearly had an amazing time. The bride looked stunning in her glittery gold gown, which, together with the lush décor, high ceilings and wooden interiors, gave the wedding a rustic luxe feel. Meanwhile, the crystal elements and fairy lights, as well as the hanging vines and ivy, created a cosy, intimate setting. Many thanks to Louis Loo Photography for this wonderfully detailed…

An Elegant Oxford Blue And Gold Wedding At The Westin Kuala Lumpur

Keeping things elegant yet modern, this beautiful colour palette of white, blue and gold, complete with touches of sparkle and lace, was a sight to behold. With the ballroom’s high ceilings, long tables flanking the runway, and white cloth draped along the walls, the reception, which was awash in blue light, had a majestic yet modern vibe. Final finishing touches were added in the form of gilded Tiffani chairs, breathtakingly elaborate floral table centrepieces, and sparkly lace tablecloths. And of course not forgetting that amazing floral photo wall, too! Many thanks to WeFreeze Photography for capturing the glamour and elegance of the night, as well as the remarkable details and…

An Old School Chinese Gate-Crashing Ceremony

Most Chinese wedding customs have been modernised but some traditions still remain, such as the tea ceremony and the gate-crashing ceremony, where the groom picks up the bride. These are, without a doubt, the most sentimental and joyous aspects of the whole day. The gatecrashing ceremony fills the house with a lot of laughter as both sides of the family get acquainted with one another through ice-breaker games; while the tea ceremony is a traditional and sweet way of introducing the new family member to each side. Here, we love how Rachel was resplendent in her ‘kua’ and how charming Chris looked in his traditional Chinese outfit, plus that beautiful…

A Timeless Burgundy Wedding At St Andrew’s Church, KL

Keeping things classic with a beautifully modern colour palette of deep burgundy, red and blue, this bride and groom made every part of the flowers, décor and bridal party a reflection of who they were. The dark shades of burgundy in the bridal bouquet perfectly contrasted with the light pops of pink in the décor, and the bride looked absolutely resplendent in her bridal gown, especially with the decadent lace sleeves. It was clear there was so much love and joy on this special day – between the newlyweds and from their guests as well. Many thanks to MunKeat Photography for capturing this gorgeous set of photos. A Glamorous Blush Pink And Gold Wedding At Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur

Pair draped linen and soft twinkling lights with gold sparkles and lots of flowers, and you’ve got yourself a classically perfect wedding. From the sparkly bridesmaids’ dresses to the blush pink accents in the reception’s tablescape, décor and flowers, everything came together so beautifully, and we especially love the ceiling of flowers and the floral arch. Many thanks to Adam Ong Photography for capturing this glamorous wedding party – planned by MY Wedding Planner and put together by Wishing Tree. Michelle: “I remember walking down the aisle and looking towards the end and being able to only see Hann. As clichéd as it may sound, a relaxed feeling came over…
