A Modern Rust Orange Iban Wedding in Kuching
Iban culture is rooted in lots of rituals, especially when it comes to weddings. This celebration didn’t just bring together two families, it also brought together the old and the new, showcasing Iban traditions while keeping to a modern and minimalist theme. The bride and groom had fun choosing colours that represented their personalities – rust orange for the bride to signify fire, and pastel blue for the groom to signify water. What a way to celebrate their union! Thanks to Andy Phe Photography for the photos, and congrats to In Esse Event & Design for pulling this off. Bryan: “The most memorable moment from our big day was the…

Contemporary Indoor Rainforest Wedding at Borneo Convention Centre
We love how this couple, both interior designers, transformed a large hall at the Borneo Convention Centre into a lush garden-themed wedding venue! Their love for nature and greenery is evident from the tall arch of bramble and large leaves, elegantly dressed with hanging bulbs; the adorable potted succulents that served as wedding favours; and the decorative ornaments in bronze, brown and oak. Thanks to Andy Phe of Bespoke Photoraphics for these splendid shots!

A Mother Nature Inspired Wedding In Kuching
You can never go wrong with a nature themed wedding, simply because it is always classy and timeless. Also, couples tend to forget that they don’t have to spend extravagant amounts to get their dream wedding. Yan and Hua’s wedding was understated yet so beautiful, and having the perfect venue certainly helped. Because they enjoy nature so much, they decided to have lots of greenery incorporated into their theme, as well as personal touches in the form of DIY elements. A big thank you to Yong Hao Visual Moments for these stunning photos of the lovebirds!

A Yellow and Grey Industrial DIY Wedding In Kuching
This was a wedding of contrasts, as the venue was rustic with its exposed brick walls yet industrial with its steel staircase and high ceilinged warehouse interior. Strung with lights and set up in a combination of yellow and light grey, this wedding was literally brought together by the efforts of the bride and groom. Their DIY project brought them closer together and they made sure their wedding reflected their personalities and love story. We love the little details too: succulents in the bride’s bouquet, and the various decorative accents. Many thanks to Andrew Yep Photographie for capturing this beautiful wedding.

A Rustic Wedding At The Old Courthouse, Kuching
This beautiful white colonial building, now converted into a fine restaurant and with a lovely garden outside, was perfect for this wedding. The couple added just enough detail to complement the existing architecture – sometimes simplicity is the key to such a beautiful venue. Thanks, Andy Phe, for this lovely set of photos. Cheng Cheng: “It drizzled earlier in the morning which got us worried as our wedding ceremony was going to be held later that afternoon. It was a blessing that we got clear skies when the time came, and that all of our invited guests were able to attend and witness our marriage. “Walking down the aisle with…
