    Uniquely Theirs

We would love to see more brides like this one – she’s one of the few brides we’ve come across who share our sentiment that you do not need to be limited by wedding ideas only for inspiration. The talented Rachel also designed her own wedding invitations as well as the lettering on the wall, menu and place cards, and the couple did their own décor. Thanks, Jonathan Ong, for sharing yet another lovely story with us.

    Woodland Magic At Nosh

With no décor planned 1.5 months before her wedding, you’ll be impressed at what this bride pulled off. Salute. Thanks, Bloc Memoire, for this gorgeous set. Van Mi: “At the end of the solemnisation ceremony, after exchanging vows with Wei Kiat, I could not help but reach for a hug from my mum, and we both cried tears of joy. My father, seeing this and fighting to control his emotions, turned to my husband and said, ‘Take care of my daughter, yes?’ And my husband replied with such conviction in his voice, ‘I will, dad.’ I guess parents have different ways of expressing their feelings, as this really showed.

The Quirky Wedding Of An Owl And A Deer

There is so much to love about this wedding. Besides the fact that the couple looks gorgeous, they are also extremely talented. Their wedding totally charmed us with all its fun colours and lovely details. We will let the photos speak for themselves. Thanks, Axioo, for sharing this wonderful story with us. Tips from the bride: “I’m pretty sure you can find wedding inspiration everywhere. The most important thing is to find not just good vendors, but the right vendors that will complement your style.”

    Rustic Industrial

At the recent WAF2015, Bliss & Glitz put together a romantic, rustic industrial look at Zebra Square, complete with a good mix of vintage furniture and beautiful blossoms. We totally adored the vintage décor, especially the mobile drinks station.

    Olive Green

A rustic garden courtyard, good food and everything set to a beautiful olive theme sounds like the perfect weekend. Here’s a wedding that was held at a gorgeous garden courtyard just outside of Barcelona, carefully put together by Detallerie and photographed by Diez & Bordons.

    Garden Romance

This bride is awesome. She is certain of what she wants, doesn’t overanalyse things, and doesn’t allow the many options and ideas out there to overwhelm her. We believe these were all the keys that made her a lovely and stress-free bride. Thanks, Ben Yew, for always capturing such dreamy weddings for us to lust after. Jacqui: “The gardens were in full bloom, and from then we knew we wanted a romantic garden cottage wedding. Most of the décor was in neutral colours, but as fresh flowers were our main focus, there were splashes of soft peaches, pinks, purples and subtle greys throughout.”

    Bohemian Love

You might have noticed that the bohemian theme is a hot trend right now, even for bridal collections. Natasha from The Peak Xperience came up with this simple, lovely interpretation of the theme at WAF2015. She sure did a lot with just one corner, and we can only imagine how beautiful it would all look if she had a bigger space to work with.

    Tropical Fruits Wedding Fare

Conceptualised by Bryan of Beautiful Gatherings, this shoot was inspired by two areas in his life – his fascination with nature’s offerings and travelling experiences. Having grown up in a humble home built by his grandpa, Bryan spent many mornings running around the house, helping his mum with the gardening and eating lots of home cooked food. Returning to Asia after a sabbatical in South America, he found himself yearning for all the exotic fruits. When he discovered Bollywood Veggies, a sanctuary away from the bustle of the “Little Red Dot” and set in the rustic environment of the northwest Kranji countryside, it was like stepping into his childhood playground…

    Sunny Autumn

Photographed in the parklands of Sanctuary Lakes in Point Cook, Melbourne, this photoshoot is refreshing yet dreamy and romantic. Thanks for sharing this lovely set of photos with us, Ruffles & Bells, they were indeed beautifully captured by Qlix Photography. Jay Cao of Qlix Photography: “The inspiration for this shoot was a result of the many ideas from the vendors involved. Eventually, we narrowed it down to the one thing we wanted to do, and that was reinvent the colours and mood of Jose Villa, summarised by a rustic bridal editorial shoot with a fresh colour palette of yellows, whites and greens.
