A Twilight-inspired Forest Wedding in Java, Indonesia

We’re completely captivated by this forest wedding! Almost straight out of a movie set, the details and decorative elements all came together for a picture perfect celebration. Inspired by the Twilight movie, this bride’s dream wedding featured lush drapes and hanging ferns, as well as chandeliers and woven hangings, in a clean green and white palette. These beautifully captured shots by Iluminen are absolutely breathtaking!

A DIY Rustic Chic Wedding at Rowan & Parsley, Johor Bahru

Their intention to keep things cosy and simple did not stop these newlyweds from pulling out all the stops when it came to the little details that added flair and elegance to their wedding soiree. What’s even more impressive was that the wedding was entirely DIY. Granted, the venue was already a gem on its own, but the flowers and liberal use of eucalyptus, ferns and herbs really brought the rustic chic theme together. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous set of photos, Peter Herman Photography!

A Casual, Chic and Intimate Wedding at Tamarind Springs

We love how these newlyweds changed things up – a doughnut wall instead of a floral arch, a hanging garden instead of lush tablescapes, and exchanging their vows in a little slice of forest within the city. The bride’s choice of wedding dress was on point too – chic and demure yet elegant. Thanks to Fixer Photography for capturing this beautiful set of photos!

Conceptual Bridal Portraits: The Pilot And The Tailor

Sometimes you simply can’t put into words how much your love story takes your breath away, so these newlyweds took their bridal portraits and had them made into a movie. Using different photographs, this combination of cinematography and photography (adorably called “cinephotography”) took storytelling and bridal portraits to an inimitable space. The level of detail applied to the styling and costumes perfectly complemented the love these newlyweds have for each other. Watch: “The Pilot & The Tailor”, starring Jocelyn and Louis. Elegant Tuscan-inspired Wedding at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur

Here in Malaysia, we long for outdoor soirees, but have to contend with the humidity and heat. Because sunlight always makes for much better photos, glasshouses are the next best thing for bringing the outdoors inside. Together with Le Méridian Kuala Lumpur, The Wedding Notebook created the dreamy romance of a Tuscan garden wedding in their glasshouse by the pool, complete with a breezy brunch. Heartiest thanks to Inlight Photos for capturing it all!

A Burgundy Chic Rooftop Garden Wedding in Muar, Johor

A garden on the roof? Bringing the outside indoors? Thanks to these ingenious ways of creating her dream wedding, this bride’s rustic garden celebration was beautifully adorned with green ferns, wildflowers, and floral elements in deep, rich colours. It was a beautiful contrast to the brick wall, glasshouse, and wood and steel elements that were part of the venue. These beautiful shots were captured by AlbertG of MCS Wedding Gallery; thanks for sharing!
