    Bohemian Bash

With the unpredictable weather in Singapore, Nosh is a brilliant space – open-air yet sheltered just in case the weather decides to be less kind. Even in such a simple dress, Katrina looked absolutely beautiful. It’s nice to see such a light-hearted ceremony and reception. To illustrate their happy and fun nature, as well as their love for the reality show Survivor, the couple customised shot glasses with the words “I survived Isaac and Katrina’s wedding” for their guests. We’re really glad Samuel Goh shared this beautiful bohemian wedding with us. Tips from the bride: “Time and the Internet are your best friends. If you take the time and effort…

    Endless Possibilities

Seriously, there is no reason for us to not like Funky Dali. They continually surprise us with new locations and are always overflowing with ideas. This is one of their latest bridal portrait shoots, and the added illustrations that were inspired by the couple’s life really caught our attention. A set of photos that is guaranteed to leave you with a smile. Victor: “My cousin told me to ‘check out Funky Dali; they’re really “you”’, and the moment I heard the music they used for their videos/slideshows, I knew I’d found ‘the one’. We didn’t know what to expect, what with their crazy, funky ideas. Most of them were spontaneous…

A Romantic Rustic Eco Chic Wedding

Without a wedding planner and with only 60 days to prepare, Cheeky and Shea pulled off a pretty awesome peach and green rustic party. Her dress looked awesome with that gold sash, and that garden overlooking a beach was downright romantic and truly every girl’s dream. Thanks, Marlon Capuyan for sharing this lovely wedding with us. Cheeky: “Everything was memorable that day, but the most memorable for me was exchanging vows of commitment with the man that God has so cleverly chosen for me, before Him, our family and very close friends. I had never been so happy in my entire life. I couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear…

    Timeless Elegance

This wedding was held at Penang’s two most sought-after venues – a beautiful white garden ceremony at E&O Hotel followed by a chic dinner reception at the Blue Mansion. We love the bridal party, the bridal car and, of course, the stunning bridal gown. This is another good example of how to keep a traditional essence without missing out on some fun. Lynn didn’t have a Pinterest board because she knew exactly what she wanted. With the help of her planner at Touching Hearts, her wedding was nothing short of awesome. Thanks, Alex and Crazy Monkey Studio, for capturing this precious day and sharing it with us. Lynn: “I wanted…

    Dramatic Paper Wedding Dress

We believe that every photographer has his/her own photography style so how do you distinguish a set of photos from that of a different couple if they were taken by the same photographer? Unless you let your photographer into your life, you won’t see any difference. Each couple has a story to tell, even if you aren’t looking for something too conceptual or staged. The best thing about Raymond Phang and his team is that they are extremely good at interpreting each couple’s story and transforming it into a piece of art. Oftentimes that means taking on clients who aren’t afraid to explore different things. Sandora and Joshua, thanks for…

    Blowing Kisses

The burst of colour in these DIY and paper-themed bridal portraits is really perfect for this arty couple. The GIF stop-motions were carefully crafted, and they are by far one of our favourites. GIFs are the next big art form and we just love how this couple incorporated them into their portraits. Find out more about their thought process in our magazine. Vintage Shabby Chic

A lovely navy blue and orange vintage garden wedding that exuded warmth and was filled with DIY touches put together by family and friends. Having grown up together for seven years, Pearlyn and Rongzhao’s relationship has seen both the joys and pains of life. Read more about their courtship on their wedding website here and check out these lovely images by AndroidsinBoots. Pearlyn: “We wanted to keep things economical so we didn’t hire a wedding planner, but we did get help and advice from a wedding coordinator as well as from our friends. The décor contained elements of different aesthetics that we both like, shabby chic and vintage, and it…
