A Cool Geometric Silver Wedding At Metal Bees

It’s not often that you’ll find a bride opting to wear an unconventional wedding gown, but this bride did, and she looked stunning in her sparkly silver wedding gown and chic hairdo. Save for the bridesmaids, who were in flowing silver dresses, guests were asked to come dressed in black. The cool starry backdrop, geometric decorative elements, sparkly disco lights and cool blue lighting all made for a very cool, very fun party to celebrate the union of two people. Many thanks to Peter Herman Photography for capturing the decorative aesthetics and creative styling by The Next Best Thing so well! Do check out also their fun filled bridal portraits;…

A Wes Anderson-Inspired Boho Chic Forest Wedding In Bandung

Set in the middle of a misty, dreamy forest and with a striking injection of colour, this wedding perfectly encapsulated the bride and groom’s personality. Thanks to their love for colour and pompoms, the Pine Hill in Bandung was transformed into a fun, bright festival in celebration of this joyous occasion. Some things were kept simple, such as the bridesmaids’ dresses, which were in silver grey. But we were absolutely blown away by the bride’s reception gown, with its full orange skirt that perfectly complemented the many textures and colours of this soiree. An additional decorative note that we loved – the giant dream catcher set in the middle of…

    A Classic Hollywood Romance

Much like the happily-ever-afters of Hollywood films, this set of bridal portraits perfectly encapsulates the newlyweds’ mutual love for films and all things timeless. After all, a classic is a beauty that withstands the weather of time. With a dramatic red lip for the bride and dapper tailored suits for the groom, they were indeed a sight to behold, with no detail spared in their perfect homage to the golden age of Hollywood. Set in New Zealand with all its untouched beauty, we love the fashion choices (pearls and lace), floral prints and headgear. Many thanks to Euhau Leong of LOORK for capturing these amazing bridal portraits, and to Rong…

A Blue Rustic Wedding In Sekeping Victoria, Penang

Ranging from baby blue to cobalt, the many shades of blue were the perfect colour palette for this intimate rustic themed wedding. Touches of blue were found in the bride’s bouquet and baby’s breath decorations, which complemented the wooden decorative elements such as tree trunk wood carvings, long wooden dining tables and twine. The bride looked absolutely resplendent in her gown, flanked by her bridesmaids all in light blue (but each in a dress matching their own style), while the groom was handsome in his deep navy suit and surrounded by his groomsmen all in their own dapper attire. Many thanks to Louis Loo Photography for capturing this sweet set…

An Extravagant Outdoor Wedding at Alila Villas Uluwatu

Flowers and nature took centre stage at this beautiful wedding in Uluwatu, Bali. The most breathtaking element was the wedding arch, replete with pink roses in full bloom, lush green vines and leaves, and with the added touch of an elegant blush pink ribbon. The elaborate tablescapes were adorned with roses, succulents and baby’s breath, as well as wooden branches with golden tea lights in geometric terrarium pots and holders. For an extra touch of romance, tall stalks of cherry blossom branches flanked the wedding aisle. Many thanks to Terralogical for this breathtaking set of photos.
