Quirky and Unconventional Bridal Portraits Taken on Bintan Island, Indonesia

These are some pretty big, albeit unorthodox, bridal portraits, we have to say! And frankly we did not expect any less from two visual communication designers who are crazy in love and about to tie the knot. From perspective distortions to quirky art frames, these lovebirds wanted to defy the norms of bridal portraits, and that they did. It wasn’t all peculiar oddities (even though each photo looked like an art piece), the couple also took some conventional shots as backup, which were sweet and romantic – we love the ones of them by the beach and in the water, too! Many thanks to Govinda Rumi of Terralogical for this…

A Boho Chic, Wes Anderson-inspired Wedding at Janda Baik

No stone was left unturned at this beautifully conceptualised Wes Anderson-inspired wedding. Full of decorative rugs and feathers, the newlyweds paid homage to Anderson’s quirky and distinctive aesthetic, from the colour palette and the décor to even his trademark symmetry. The bohemian style and festival vibe was an unconventional choice, but what an amazing wedding it turned out to be! Thanks to ChongYee Photography for capturing all the intricate details.

A Cosy, Autumn-Inspired Wedding at The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, Ipoh

Walking towards the love of your life as you’re about to tie the knot sure can feel like a dream. For this bride, she walked across a bridge and finally arrived at a super chic hexagonal “arch”, set on a ceremony deck that overlooked the hot springs. Imagine exchanging your vows in a place like this! Many thanks to MunKeat Photography for these exceptionally beautiful photos.

A Cosy, Autumn-themed Wedding At The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

The sweetest part of this wedding was how much the newlyweds included the guests into their special day. From keeping it intimate and personalising agate slices to illustrating the guests for the guestbook, the couple ensured that their wedding day meant just as much to their loved ones as it did to them. We love the massive grazing table that was put together by the couple’s friends, and the entire day was clearly filled with so much love and warmth. Also, how beautiful are the deep green eucalyptus leaves and ferns, set against the burnt orange and blush pink tones! Many thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for capturing this beautiful…

Beach Styled Shoot With Elegant Dried Flowers

If you fancy the idea of using dried flowers for your wedding, we say to you: do it. Pepper Suite Events, Fire, Wood & Earth, and Verena Mia fused their creative genius for this collaborative styled shoot, “Untamed”, which celebrates the spirit of being wild and free. Two décor canvases – the first bohemian and the second, a beach – lent a contrasting visual effect to the natural elements and the flowing gowns by Mia. We love the splendid ocean view all around The Asmara Nusa Dua, and the nearby semi-private beach with rocky cliffs in the background was perfect for the second styled shoot. The gowns – one a soft grey-blue tone and the other, a pale mauve – were made of layers of silk…

A Rustic, Nature-filled and Intimate Tuscan Wedding

Ah, to have such a dreamy wedding under the Tuscan sun! Swathed in greenery, featuring olive trees, stone walls and wood furnishings, this wedding was unreal, the bridal couple and their guests spoiled with the most amazing views. The lovebirds exchanged their vows during the golden hour, and the bride looked resplendent in her bridal gown – that amazing lace detail! We love the deep pop of navy on the bridesmaids, and the groom’s tan suit too. Many thanks to Jenny Tong Photography for this amazing set of photos.
