    60s Style Glam

This contemporary young couple in Shenzhen were determined to go against conventional wedding trends. For the gatecrashing ceremony, the bride wore a short, retro dress and a birdcage veil. She kept the guest list relatively small, turning the rooftop of The Langham Hotel into a romantic garden for their wedding, which was followed by an after party. From these photos that were beautifully captured by Chris Spira, one thing’s for sure: Vien and Michael look like they thoroughly enjoyed their big day. Weddings like this one are what we hope to see more.

    Floral Romance

Somehow, this bride just seems to know where to get her stuff. Their wedding bands were made and bought in Belgium, and she custom made the groomsmen’s attire and printed goods overseas. We are filled with excitement for this romantic affair. The lovely lace and romantic blooms are already enough to put a smile on our faces, never mind the gorgeous venue and stunning photos by Tealily Photography. A dream team that was carefully put together, it just doesn’t get any better than this. Gordon: “Seeing her in that dress, walking down the aisle, was my favourite moment. The whole day was memorable, from getting ready to go to the…

    Released By Love

This is one of those rare scenarios where the idea came along before the couple did. Simeon of VIVIDA had to re-sketch some of the sketches to fit the couple’s story. It definitely took a lot of effort and time, from scouting the right space to styling and shooting. From a technical aspect, it was challenging as well to get the perfect lighting and right expression, but this is when you need to understand that quality is more important than quantity. Conceptual bridal shoots are like trailers, creating just enough curiosity for others to ask you more about your story. Simeon: “Though the pre-production was very tough, this was an…

    Ballet In Paris

Not all ballet shoes are created equal. Repetto is a brand that has ruled the market and the hearts of ballerine lovers all over the world for more than 65 years. So imagine how significant this trip is to a ballerina when she gets to document her whole day literally dancing in the streets of Paris and in the boutique itself. Besides the fact that Acapella Photography did their usual magnificent job in Europe. As if there weren’t enough reasons to fall in love with Paris already, check out the second part of the shoot here.
