Romantic Floral Themed Studio Bridal Portraits

While most of us tend to opt for outdoor bridal portraits, not least for the natural lighting, we are all at the mercy of the weather and its unpredictability. Fortunately for this couple, Joshua Koh of Joshua Koh Photography and Sherly of Tie the Knot were able to bring the outdoors inside, thanks to their liberal use of flowers, minimal props, and beautiful lighting. The results are light and sweet, invoking a sense of spring, which is appropriate given that spring is the season of love, after all. What a fresh take on studio bridal portraits, and we love the bride’s gorgeous asymmetrical hem bridal gown with pockets! Sherly of…

A Romantic and Dreamy Stormy Blue Wedding in Queenstown

Oh, this wedding is straight out of a reverie – with soft stormy blue accents, pale pink flowers and frosty greens, the colour palette had all the makings of a fantasy dreamland. Set in New Zealand, where the natural terrain is already indisputably beautiful, the newlyweds paid close attention to the little things, bringing all the details together like it was meant to be. Just like their union. From textured throws to gilded candlesticks for a tinge of drama, the props included antlers that gave the wedding a rustic feel. The bridal portraits were stunning of course, thanks to the tall trees and rolling hills. But our favourite was the…

Fall Colours and Fur Babies For This Minimalist Wedding at Chun Tsubaki, Singapore

A wedding is truly meant to reflect the personality of the newlyweds, and for this couple, that meant including their cats! Keeping things minimalist, with muted tones and neutral decorations, this cosy and beautiful wedding showed hints of glamour in the dramatic, tall floral elements and fairy lights. The happy couple looked resplendent as they celebrated their union with loved ones, and we love the bride’s tasteful, long-sleeved lace dress, styled with a lovely side braid. Thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for these wonderfully captured photos!

    An Elegant Backyard Garden Wedding

For this backyard wedding, the bride transformed her garden into an elegant floral wonderland so she and her groom could say, “I do”. The attention to detail was impeccable, as she had thought of everything, right down to just the right touches of rustic wooden accents. We especially loved the “into the woods” feel of the reception, where it seemed like guests were stepping into a fantasy woodland filled with fairy lights. Many thanks to MunKeat Photography for this gorgeous set of photos!

A Romantic Lavender Garden Wedding at Pandawa Cliff Estate, Bali

There’s something so romantic about getting married by the sea, and it’s even better if you’re up on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The bride and groom of this wedding chose to build their wedding theme around the colour lavender, punctuated with wooden accents such as rattan pendant lights, oak chairs and wooden plates. The combination of grey, green and blush pink with lavender was beautiful and effortlessly elegant. Many thanks to Fire, Wood & Earth for this absolutely gorgeous set of photos!
