An Ethereal Waterfall Ceremony At Kanching Falls, Rawang

Who would’ve thought that a local “destination wedding” could turn out so beautiful? From the fact that they chose to have their ceremony literally at a waterfall, to not wearing shoes so that they could be at one with nature, it was evident that Hannah and Joshua’s wedding celebrations were going to be one of a kind. Seeing as their wedding venue was already so beautiful in its natural state, Hannah and Joshua kept things simple with earthy neutrals and greens as their colour palette, adding just wildflowers to the setting. Many thanks to Peter Herman Photography for sharing this interesting wedding with us.

An Outdoor Wedding At The Smokehouse, Cameron Highlands

Here’s another example of how picking the right venue for your wedding ceremony can save you lots of time and money in the decorating department, while also keeping your guests as comfortable as possible. This lovely wedding was held in the beautifully kept gardens of The Old Smokehouse in Cameron Highlands, which needed absolutely no additions at all to make it picture perfect. How we wish there was a way to fill every outdoor venue in Malaysia with cool, sweet highland air! For the reception in the dining hall, the table settings…

    Rustic Coffee Themed Wedding

It should be that way even before you enter into marriage. Thanks, Adam Ong, for the great photos, and congrats, Tie The Knot and Wishing Tree, for this beautiful, rustic, coffee themed setup. We love it. Give us coffee any day instead of wedding favours we won’t use! Julee: “We love intimate weddings. The most memorable part of the wedding was to be able to see our loved ones witnessing our marriage. The ceremony was filled with joy and laughter, from the bridal…

    Whimsical Celebration

To be honest, when we first stumbled upon this set of photos, we didn’t realise that it was a wedding in Singapore. The flowers and colours used were so rare. The photography style of Ivan Tan definitely did its magic too – the images and emotions look so effortless yet real. It’s not often we get to see an Asian bridal couple actually relax and enjoy their wedding. We like it when the couple is involved in the décor because it seems as if their wedding is their first special project together. From the round green and purple paper lanterns, origami cranes and crepe paper flowers, to the pretty centerpieces,…
