A Modern Rustic Beach Wedding at Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa

Keeping the colours neutral and textures minimal was the initial plan for this couple as they didn’t want anything outrageous – and they were pleasantly surprised when everything came together so well. From the nautical navy colours and taupe rope textures to the gilded accents and lush green tablescape, everything was finished with a touch of elegance. We especially love the wedding logo on the small boat, which was subtle yet special. Thanks to Mayad Studios for capturing these beautiful wedding photos.

    The Beauty Of Traditions

Benny is from Chicago. He moved to Hong Kong a few years back for work, and that is where he met Marina. We love this wedding to bits, especially how they included all the traditional customs yet kept it so much fun. It’s so beautiful to see all the bride’s family dress up in ‘Qun Kua’ and ‘Qipao’ including the grandma. They laughed, cried and went all out eccentric. They were just so authentic in front of the camera, which made these photos by Julian Wainwright extra amazing.
