Pandemic weddings can be really special. There’s something about capturing intimate moments in the privacy and comfort of your own home, plus being at home doesn’t mean it cannot also be sexy and sophisticated. Styled by Med Kärlek Inc and captured by Juanmoley Fotologue, these styled portraits carry an effortless yet curated look – one that can be easily achieved! Phillane Cheng of Med Kärlek Inc: “We were inspired by our clients, the changing times and current pandemic, and the words of Si Ying of Eloise the Brand: ‘The union of two souls defined, not by numbers, the glitz or traditions, but the intimate moments in-between, surrounded by the people…

A Rustic, Mermaid-Inspired Beach Wedding in Ho Tram, Vietnam
This wedding was all about the details and textures. What more is there to add, really, when you have a beach like this? Keeping to a colour palette of tan, nude and other neutral hues, the newlyweds ensured that their beach theme took centre stage. The bride even got to live out her fantasy of being a mermaid with a seashell halo crown! Many thanks to Hipster Wedding for capturing all the thoughtful elements that made this beautiful wedding. Chris: “My most memorable moment was when Thu walked out onto the aisle looking stunning. Standing on the beach with the sun going down, taking photos as a newly married couple…

A Modern Blue-Grey Cliffside Wedding in Bali
Florals and bright colours might seem like a no-brainer for a Bali wedding, but these newlyweds had other plans. Opting for slate blue and grey tones combined with lush neutral floral elements, stalks of wheat and lots of greenery, they kept things classic and romantic – with a modern touch. We especially love that seashell-shaped altar, which was used for their reception backdrop as well! Many thanks to Fire, Wood & Earth for these absolutely beautiful photos.

Thank you for the lovely shots, Chong Yee Photography. The newlyweds set out to put together a bohemian themed wedding, was made possible by Pax Floral and Signature Moments. They opted for neutral colours, as they did not want anything too bright, and decided on Glasshouse at Seputeh as their venue.

Edgy and Contemporary with Sleek Lines and Wildflowers
Brides-to-be tend to find themselves in this common dilemma when planning their wedding: to keep things classic and risk veering on ‘boring’ and ‘predictable’, or spice things up with a contemporary look and risk having a look that dates? What’s chic and contemporary these days is a balance of the two, such as dried wildflowers set against sleek lines and modern tablescapes, warm wooden textures juxtaposed against steely cool structures, and a palette of earthy tones with subtle gilded touches. Above all, sustainability is important – most of the décor can be repurposed by the newlyweds for their new home. Many thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for this impressive set…

A Dreamy and Rustic Outdoor Wedding at Mandapa, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Bali
Most brides would fret about rain on their (outdoor) wedding day, but this bride simply embraced it all! Keeping things clean and minimalist, the bridal couple used tons of dried flowers, which complemented all the other traditional décor elements, including those from their Javanese heritage. What a classic and romantic wedding! We also loved how the bride snuck in a message on her veil: “Love Above All Else”. It’s subtle yet arresting, while her asymmetrical neckline ensured a classic style with her own spin on it. Many thanks to Iluminen for this dreamy set of photos!

Mysterious And Bohemian Sahara-Style Shoot In Sepang
What a romantic and passionate shoot set against the dusty ruby shades of the “Sahara”. Believe it or not, this desert-esque location is actually in Sepang, Malaysia. We’re intrigued by this bold yet minimalist take on the traditional bohemian style, not to mention the raw magnetism of these images. Thanks for these amazing shots, Jessielyee. Photography! The bride had her hair down, lustrous and sexy, without the typical up-dos or accessories. She didn’t need to play it sweet; her alluring personality and confidence were beautifully magnified, projected and captured in these stills. We also love the detailing, which accentuated her dramatic flair. Check out the beautiful floral ring she wore,…
