A Warm Hues Beach Wedding at SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort
A wedding is a celebration of two individuals and their love for one another, which makes this season’s intimate weddings all the more special. This bride and groom took full advantage of the gorgeous beach backdrop by keeping their colour palette neutral, sticking with white florals and lush greenery. The bridesmaids wore shades of burnt orange, red and yellow, adding vibrant pops of colour to the celebration, and the bride and groom exchanged their vows before a pretty circle made of wheat stalks and leaves. Thanks to Peter Herman Photography for this gorgeous set of photos! TAYLOR & KRIS {Thailand} Photography by Peter Herman Photography / Videography by LEURA Film…

A Quirky ‘Moonrise Kingdom’-Inspired Night Safari Wedding in Singapore
Now here’s a wedding for these Covid times – one that is outdoors and with facemasks! Turning the pandemic facemask on its head while also paying homage to Wes Anderson’s ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ and ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’, this couple incorporated “foxy” masks into their wedding, to brilliant effect. We love the rustic feel and nature vibes of the venue, not to mention the quirky aesthetics and fun additions in the form of exotic animals that made an appearance during the Night Safari! What a wonderful way to celebrate your wedding with family and friends. Many thanks to Leslie Photography for this beautiful set of photographs. Paige: “It rained throughout the morning…

A Stylish DIY Floral Wedding at Raffles Hotel, Singapore
What’s a wedding without flowers? We never want to find out, and especially not when the bride is a wedding florist herself! Linnette from Floral Magic knew right off the bat that she wanted lots of flowers, but what truly made her day special was getting to say “I do” to the love of her life, and seeing her family and friends come together for the celebration. Many thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for these photos. Linnette: “There were so many memorable moments! Both of us catching each other’s eyes at the end of the aisle, my niece hijacking my sister’s speech with a song because she wanted to perform,…

A Modern Art-inspired Floral Wedding at an Art Gallery in Singapore
File this one under wedding inspirations! Who knew an art gallery would be so perfect for a wedding, but of course – the perfect lighting, white walls, beautiful pieces of art as the backdrop and an intimate setting… what more could you ask for? We also love how the bride and groom were styled to complement the decorative elements in this space. Many thanks to The Wildest Dreams, 8dec and This Humid House for this gorgeously styled shoot, and to Maritha Mae for capturing these beautiful photos. Pei Li of 8dec: “For this modern art-inspired wedding editorial, our team searched high and low to find the perfect light-filled, minimalist art…

Celebrating Their Original Wedding Date With a Simple Rustic Chic Vow Exchange At KLoé Hotel
By now, you would have heard of many cancelled weddings and postponed receptions. While disappointing, these newlyweds still wanted to honour the day they were originally going to become husband and wife. Their intended wedding date fell during Malaysia’s Movement Control Order, which meant large gatherings were not allowed but photoshoots with strict social distancing in place were good to go. These pre-wedding shots were taken at the newly opened rustic chic boutique hotel, KLoé Hotel in downtown KL, and the couple also used the opportunity to exchange their personal vows. Love prevails! The beautiful space and lush wildflowers, together with the bride’s chic bridal jumpsuit, made for a beautifully…

A Dreamy Blue Grey, Terra Cotta Infused Cliff-Top Styled Shoot in the Philippines
Wow, the elements of this styled shoot truly blew us away! From the pebble beach and the crashing waves to the lush forests and dramatic cliffs overlooking the ocean, there is no better backdrop than Mother Nature. Completing this look are the bride and groom’s outfits, including the bride’s long train and veil, which helped to add serenity and dreaminess to the overall effect. We love the chic use of the geometric arch, not to mention the terra cotta cutlery and crockery, and the blue grey touches for a pop of colour. Kudos to Cuckoo Cloud Concepts for making this happen, together with the beautiful florals by Vatel Manilla, and…

An Intimate Boho Wedding Celebration at the Exclusive Aman Rimba Private Estate
How we love the way this couple celebrated their wedding! They wanted things simple and kept to their priorities, which was an intimate evening with their family and friends from the industry. Their reception dinner, in fact, was a gathering of industry peers. Kudos to TRBAN Photography for these gorgeous shots.

Boho Chic With A Pop Of Orange At The Andaman Langkawi
Facing the Andaman Sea is The Andaman, a Luxury Collection Resort, Langkawi, home to one of the most beautiful natural private beaches on the island. Perfect for your destination wedding, The Andaman is also a resort that believes in sustainability and preserving the environment. You won’t find any single-use plastic straws (instead, wheat straws are preferred), and their food is sourced locally. Textures such as dried leaves, wildflowers and pampas grass are one way to add a bohemian yet dreamy, romantic vibe to a beach wedding. We love the ornate circle arch framing the bride and groom against the muted neutral colours of the beach and sky, while the bright…

A Nostalgia-inspired Modern Wedding+Whimsical Vibrant Garden Ceremony in Singapore
Weddings tend to signify the turning point of going from your past into your future, and for these newlyweds, that came in the form of their wedding celebrations. Opting for traditional and nostalgia first, with a church solemnisation and tea ceremony, they let loose with their friends on the second day, surrounded by nature and with much dancing beneath the night sky. Many thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for capturing this gorgeous wedding. Desiree: “Being married by Msgr Ambrose, who had journeyed with us for a year and knew us so well, was so special. Other memorable moments included the very special vow ceremony led by my childhood friend, my…

A Cosy, Autumn-themed Wedding At The Fullerton Hotel Singapore
The sweetest part of this wedding was how much the newlyweds included the guests into their special day. From keeping it intimate and personalising agate slices to illustrating the guests for the guestbook, the couple ensured that their wedding day meant just as much to their loved ones as it did to them. We love the massive grazing table that was put together by the couple’s friends, and the entire day was clearly filled with so much love and warmth. Also, how beautiful are the deep green eucalyptus leaves and ferns, set against the burnt orange and blush pink tones! Many thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for capturing this beautiful…

Fall Colours and Fur Babies For This Minimalist Wedding at Chun Tsubaki, Singapore
A wedding is truly meant to reflect the personality of the newlyweds, and for this couple, that meant including their cats! Keeping things minimalist, with muted tones and neutral decorations, this cosy and beautiful wedding showed hints of glamour in the dramatic, tall floral elements and fairy lights. The happy couple looked resplendent as they celebrated their union with loved ones, and we love the bride’s tasteful, long-sleeved lace dress, styled with a lovely side braid. Thanks to Bloc Memoire Photography for these wonderfully captured photos!
