A Chic Yet Moody Intimate Wedding At Wildflowers KL, Chinatown

What a beautiful and understatedly chic wedding! From the bride’s low ponytail and trendy off-shoulder bridal gown to the venue’s all-black interior, these newlyweds definitely knew what they were doing. They even got their guests to all dress in white for the occasion! It’s de rigour now to have family-only weddings with less than 50 people, but that doesn’t mean you have to forgo a glamorous setup. It is still your special day, after all! Many thanks to Pathway Events & Design and Louis Gan Photography for this beautiful set of photos.

A Wedding Styled Shoot With a Rustic Autumn Theme

For this shoot, Pathway Events & Design went with a rustic autumn theme in a darker palette to complement Colony @ Star Boulevard in KLCC’s New York loft-inspired interior. The rich hues of deep purple, marsala, champagne and mauve were an ideal match for the gorgeous grey walls and opulent chandeliers. Kudos to Trees On The Moon for capturing these stunning images!

An Old School Chinese Gate-Crashing Ceremony

Most Chinese wedding customs have been modernised but some traditions still remain, such as the tea ceremony and the gate-crashing ceremony, where the groom picks up the bride. These are, without a doubt, the most sentimental and joyous aspects of the whole day. The gatecrashing ceremony fills the house with a lot of laughter as both sides of the family get acquainted with one another through ice-breaker games; while the tea ceremony is a traditional and sweet way of introducing the new family member to each side. Here, we love how Rachel was resplendent in her ‘kua’ and how charming Chris looked in his traditional Chinese outfit, plus that beautiful…
