Elegant and Intimate Traditional Indian Wedding at Glasshouse at Seputeh and the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur

We just love it when couples know how to have a fabulous time. This couple living in the United Kingdom sought an intimate wedding celebration in Kuala Lumpur. They had their traditional ceremony at Glasshouse at Seputeh, the perfect venue for an indoor garden wedding, followed by a reception at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, which suitably catered to the blissful couple’s 200 guests from around the world. Thank you for this brilliant album, Peter Herman Photography! The beautiful bride reminds us of the reasons we love flowers. Her penchant for choosing soft, pastel-toned flowers meant the wedding ballroom was adorned with a remarkable display of blooms. Working with their…

A Romantic Gold and Blue Beach Wedding Styled Shoot at Four Seasons Resort Langkawi

Blue is one of the warmest colours, whether found in Mother Nature’s various hues or in the Four Seasons Resort Langkawi’s brand new décor, which channels Moroccan vibes with vibrant cobalt tones. Featuring spectacular views of the azure sky meeting the emerald waters of the Andaman Sea at the horizon, and flanked by tropical rainforests and limestone cliffs, the resort is as dramatic as it is serene and romantic. These beautiful shots were captured by Peter Herman Photography, and many thanks to Darling Florist Langkawi for taking our moodboard and helping to bring the entire look to life.

The Wedding Notebook Magazine July 2018 – Issue 23

From a fairytale wedding in an 18th century French château to a Tuscan vineyard and even a cave in Bali, this issue is all about exploring destination weddings. One of the best things about destination weddings is that often, the picturesque landscapes and stunning spaces are enough on their own. This takes away the chore of decorating so that couples can focus on what really matters – their guests, and one another. Speaking of picturesque landscapes, one very courageous couple and their photographer took destination bridal portraits to a whole new level – literally! Opting for the road less travelled, they headed up to the dizzying heights of Peru’s Rainbow…

A DIY Rustic Chic Wedding at Rowan & Parsley, Johor Bahru

Their intention to keep things cosy and simple did not stop these newlyweds from pulling out all the stops when it came to the little details that added flair and elegance to their wedding soiree. What’s even more impressive was that the wedding was entirely DIY. Granted, the venue was already a gem on its own, but the flowers and liberal use of eucalyptus, ferns and herbs really brought the rustic chic theme together. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous set of photos, Peter Herman Photography!

DIY Wedding Of Gold, Pink And White At Cameron Highlands

Fusing delicate peonies with elements of gold for their wedding, this couple went the DIY route – as much as they could. The groom, graphic designer and wedding photographer Andrew Yep, designed the invitations and stationery, and created direction boards using recycled wood and hand painted calligraphy. Meanwhile, the wedding favours were jars of locally produced strawberry jam. Thanks for these beautiful photos, Peter Herman Photography, and congratulations, Alice and Andrew! Our best wishes with you, and we’re so happy to see you both tie the knot.

The Wedding Notebook Magazine October 2017 – Issue 20

One of our favourite things about the weddings that we’ve seen this year is the way couples are breaking away from cookie cutter celebrations. Brides no longer look for only that which is beautiful, but they are beginning to find ways to infuse their personalities into their weddings and focus on what truly matters. Many are also choosing to make their big day a lighthearted affair and all about the people that they love. In this issue, you will see that our weddings have a “something different” section that shows how couples stepped away from convention. And check out the couple who drove around New Zealand in a motorvan for…

    Stunning Landscapes In New Zealand

If you’re running short on ideas on how to make your wedding portrait album a remarkable one, let a stunning landscape win half the battle for you. Waen Yien and Vui Jiin’s beautiful love story practically narrates itself as they stood in the New Zealand’s countryside, against arresting backdrops of majestic mountains, grasslands, rivers, a quaint cobblestone church and even the night sky ablaze with stars. It was a full day’s shoot with four wardrobe and hairdo changes for the couple, but they handled it with ease thanks to the beautiful weather. On a deeper level, we love how the vast expanse of the landscapes around them and the starry…
