Weddings don’t always have to be formal affairs, you can get all dolled up for a low-key celebration too. Here, we love the combination of a dusty blue colour palette and wooden textures, surrounded by lush greenery and elegant blooms. The bridal couple also added personal touches in the form of a sports jersey guestbook and a delectable gelato stand featuring Malaysian flavours. They even got their guests to all dress in white for the occasion! It’s de rigour now to have family-only weddings with less than 50 people, but that doesn’t mean you have to forgo a glamorous setup. A Flower-Filled, Cosy East-Meets-West Wedding At Isabel Restaurant, KL

It was indeed an East-meets-West affair at Isabel Restaurant, a trendy French-inspired eatery in the heart of KL. Already filled with lush blooms and greenery, the chequered floors and rattan furniture added texture to the décor, so all the bride and groom had to bring were themselves, their loved ones, and a joyous celebration of their love! With small weddings becoming the norm due to Covid-19, it has become increasingly trendy to have your wedding ceremony and reception at the same venue. Many thanks to Andrew Yep Photographie for capturing these sweet photos.

A Rustic Chic Burgundy Outdoor Wedding in Janda Baik

You can’t go wrong with a rustic chic theme when the venue is Tanarimba at Janda Baik. The beautiful surroundings, wooden columns and lush greenery are more than enough, and all you need is a rich pop of colour. For these newlyweds, it took the form of burgundy floral elements. The bride looked stunning in her bridal gowns, especially the long-sleeved, short-skirted dress. Of course, what brought it all together was the vibrant joy at the celebration – thank you, The Wedding Barn Gallery, for these photos!
