    An Artistic and Dreamy Film Bridal Photoshoot in Batu Pahat, Johor

    At first glance, these bridal portraits look like they are straight out of a Japanese countryside. There’s a forgotten quality of film photography that is only achieved in digital photos with edits or filters these days. This styled photoshoot that was shot with a Kodak Portra400 and Canon Eos55 created the perfect dreamy vibe for this couple, and one would never have guessed that it was done right here in Batu Pahat, Johor! It’s amazing what a little creative styling and an old-fashioned film camera can do. Many thanks to Rayson Lo and Yandha Goh of Sanren Studio for this wonderful set of photos. Going Back To Basics With A Bridal Portrait Shoot on Zoom During The Covid-19 Lockdown

    There’s something about how creative we are getting when it comes to bridal portraits while in lockdown that truly captures who we are in this time. During the Movement Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia, ND from Sanren Studio began using Zoom or WeChat to take bridal portraits for his clients. It’s great to see that the lockdown isn’t stopping photographers from flexing their creative muscles and finding new ways to connect with their community and would-be clients. The convenience and quality of a Zoom video call means there is so much in terms of artistic direction that can be explored, and if you don’t believe us, check out these photos…

    Explorative Bridal Portraits at Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal

    It is another busy day in the streets of Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal, and everyone is invited. We’re thrilled at how this fun-loving couple created memories that will last for years to come, simply by having a good time together. Thank you for these brilliant bridal portraits, Yan Dha and Rayson from Sanren Studio! Here in Kathmandu and Pokhara, these streets have stories of their own to tell. You see it in the eyes of the women holding their infants, in the way the children play freely in the cluttered alleys, and in the openness with which bazaar merchants humour our couple. The husband and wife-to-be jump at the opportunity…

    The Wedding Notebook Magazine January 2020 – Issue 29

    In this new issue, we celebrate the timeless elegance of white for weddings by showcasing different ways of pulling it off. Delight in an extravagant and fun white Christmas theme, and be amazed by an indoor sakura garden with touches of blush. Marvel at a grand clifftop wedding, and be inspired by a white and green forest-themed bash. Also, read about a photographer’s journey to Zermatt, Switzerland, with an adventurous couple, and their hike to capture the iconic Matterhorn in their bridal portraits. It might be January but we obviously still have “white Christmas” on our minds… {If you have problem viewing, please click here}

    A Remarkable Bridal Portraits Journey Around India

    Ask this beautiful couple and their photography crew, Rayson and Yandha, and they will quickly tell you how much fun a bridal portraits shoot can be. Kudos to Sanren Studio for these remarkable images! For their bridal portraits, Sara and Jackie planned this memorable 10-day India trip to coincide with the Holiday Festival, a grand and revered festival celebrated by Indians around the world. By immersing themselves in the rich culture there, they showed us that bridal portraits are not just for the couples themselves, but an opportunity to celebrate something much bigger – an entire race of people. Simply fabulous!

    The Wedding Notebook Magazine October 2019 – Issue 28

    Be it a glam or contemporary wedding, whether it’s held in a vintage loft somewhere in the countryside or outdoors at a destination far away, simplicity is the new norm. White flowers and lush greenery paired with muted or pastel shades seems to be the way to go, and it’s easy to see why. Intimate weddings that allow bridal couples to focus on the important details are also a favourite, with brides embracing minimalism even when it comes to their wedding gowns. Speaking of wedding gowns, don’t miss the hottest looks from Fall 2020, including bows and one-shoulder dresses. Meanwhile, a wedding photographer tied the knot with his sweetheart, and…
