A Showstopping Elegant All-White Wedding At Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur

It’s not often that you find large animal figurines and a carousel underneath the magnificent chandeliers of a ballroom for a wedding, but this is exactly what Jane Chuck and Hanpin Ma’s wedding entailed. Also known as Instagram royalty in the Malaysian fashion scene, the couple ensured that their wedding perfectly encapsulated their personalities and love for each other. With Jane’s chic style and Hanpin’s classic tastes, this was a celebration to remember! Many thanks to Louis Gan Photography for this beautiful set of photos.

A Glamorous Paradise of an Outdoor Wedding at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa

Weddings really are about celebrating with the people who have stood with you through your courtship. When this couple began planning their wedding, they first considered a destination wedding on a tropical island. However, they soon dismissed the idea, knowing that not all of their family and friends would be able to make it. Thanks, MunKeat Photography, for sharing such a gorgeous night with us.

A Glittery Rustic Luxe Wedding At Tanarimba Janda Baik

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that a wedding is essentially a giant party – that is, if you set the right tone. These newlyweds went for contrast: glamorous yet rustic, classic yet modern, lavish yet intimate. It was a two-day celebration for their friends and family, and everyone clearly had an amazing time. The bride looked stunning in her glittery gold gown, which, together with the lush décor, high ceilings and wooden interiors, gave the wedding a rustic luxe feel. Meanwhile, the crystal elements and fairy lights, as well as the hanging vines and ivy, created a cosy, intimate setting. Many thanks to Louis Loo Photography for this wonderfully detailed…

A Union Of Two Cultures At Le Meridian Kuala Lumpur

For Matthew and Yasuho, tying the knot after being together for almost a decade was a momentous and meaningful celebration indeed. The solemnisation ceremony was a classic affair, held in Le Meridian’s rooftop glasshouse. The abundance of natural light made the colour palette of navy and white really stand out in the photos and video. To highlight the union of their different cultures, Yasuho wore a ‘furisode’, a type of kimono only single women are allowed to wear, complete with a stunning floral headpiece of white hydrangeas and baby’s breath. We absolutely love the whole look! For her walk in, she chose to wear a ‘cheongsam’ to represent her husband’s…

A Modern Rustic Beach Wedding at Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa

Keeping the colours neutral and textures minimal was the initial plan for this couple as they didn’t want anything outrageous – and they were pleasantly surprised when everything came together so well. From the nautical navy colours and taupe rope textures to the gilded accents and lush green tablescape, everything was finished with a touch of elegance. We especially love the wedding logo on the small boat, which was subtle yet special. Thanks to Mayad Studios for capturing these beautiful wedding photos.

    Walk On The Wild Side

While bridal portraits taken in Europe are certainly very romantic, there’s also something to be said for couples who want to dive the deep seas or climb mountains. Thanks to Axioo, we got to share this amazing couple, Estelita and Kenny’s, journey. Thank you for taking the road less travelled and showing us that it’s all right to be yourselves. Estelita: “We wanted our bridal portraits to be unique, and quite frankly, we did not want to make a trip specifically for photographs. We wanted to go on a great trip and have an awesome photographer capture it for us. Most importantly, we wanted the photos to represent us –…

    When Two Really Become One

It was a gorgeous autumn wedding with wonderful weather and a picturesque location to match. Looking at the groom’s mum in a sari and the bride’s mum in a ‘ao dai’, you know this isn’t just about the coming together of two people, but a marriage of two great families. Victoria and Jithma were married in a beautiful church in Middle Park, before heading to Melbourne’s CBD (Central Business District) to take their photos. Making their day even more memorable was an unexpected appearance by a Star Wars character. Their reception for family and friends also took place in the city, at a restaurant called Comme, where there were plenty…
