An All-White Dreamy Cliff-Top Garden Wedding at Khayangan Estate, Uluwatu

The dreamiest of all dreamy weddings, this all-white classic is a jaw-dropper indeed, with its textures and interesting touches taking the cake. From the bride’s dress and the décor to the elements of blush pink and grey at the reception, it was all too beautiful for words. Swaths of tulle and an abundance of white flowers and stalks of wheat surrounded the newlyweds and their bridal party for the exchange of vows, which they did against a backdrop of crashing waves and serene cliffs. We’re so in love with this wedding – many thanks to Iluminen for this dazzling set of photos!

Beach Styled Shoot With Elegant Dried Flowers

If you fancy the idea of using dried flowers for your wedding, we say to you: do it. Pepper Suite Events, Fire, Wood & Earth, and Verena Mia fused their creative genius for this collaborative styled shoot, “Untamed”, which celebrates the spirit of being wild and free. Two décor canvases – the first bohemian and the second, a beach – lent a contrasting visual effect to the natural elements and the flowing gowns by Mia. We love the splendid ocean view all around The Asmara Nusa Dua, and the nearby semi-private beach with rocky cliffs in the background was perfect for the second styled shoot. The gowns – one a soft grey-blue tone and the other, a pale mauve – were made of layers of silk…

A Dreamy Bohemian Garden Wedding at Alila Villas Uluwatu

So much of this wedding was infused with the newlyweds’ own style and quirky personality. Against a colour palette of whites and nudes, other elements such as the golden plates, decorative branches and geometric vases added a dramatic flair. We love the bride’s beautiful lace bridal grown, paired with a bold vampy lip, and the groom’s unusual beige double-breasted suit! Complementing the couple were the bridal party’s coordinating outfits – blouse and skirt combos for the pretty bridesmaids and dark suits for the dapper groomsmen. Alila Villas Uluwatu in Bali is known for its serene location overlooking the ocean, and indeed it is a picture perfect place to tie the…

Blush And Brass Garden Wedding At Alila Villas Uluwatu Bali

It was as much a reunion as it was a wedding celebration for Ken Eun and Min Chung. We love how this South Korean couple living in New York had a most intimate garden wedding at Alila Villas Uluwatu in Bali, Indonesia. Planning a destination wedding can be a stressful affair, especially with the remote sourcing and organising, but kudos to this awesome bride for pulling it off so beautifully. Many thanks to DiktatPhotography for these mesmerising photos! Kee Uen was browsing on Pinterest when she fell in love with the blush on green theme. Combining bronze, brass and tan with varying shades of blush, the couple’s wedding was a…

An Extravagant Outdoor Wedding at Alila Villas Uluwatu

Flowers and nature took centre stage at this beautiful wedding in Uluwatu, Bali. The most breathtaking element was the wedding arch, replete with pink roses in full bloom, lush green vines and leaves, and with the added touch of an elegant blush pink ribbon. The elaborate tablescapes were adorned with roses, succulents and baby’s breath, as well as wooden branches with golden tea lights in geometric terrarium pots and holders. For an extra touch of romance, tall stalks of cherry blossom branches flanked the wedding aisle. Many thanks to Terralogical for this breathtaking set of photos.

A Majestic Floral Cliff Top Wedding At Khayangan Estate, Uluwatu

Almost as if it were straight out of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, this beautiful wedding had one defining element: flowers and botanicals – everywhere! Orchids were a particular favourite, as it held significant meaning for the bridal couple, and they covered everything from the decorations, invitations, and favours to even the lace cape of the bride’s evening gown. We’re also loving the bride’s dress, which was custom made by Yefta Gunawan, one of Indonesia’s leading bridal designers. The bride and groom exchanged their vows amidst a truly stunning décor of white rose petals and hanging roses, which created a ceiling over the intimate and serene space with its breathtaking cliff…

A Grand Cathedral Ceremony In Jakarta Followed By A Rustic Outdoor Reception At The Edge, Bali

Even when you’re in your home country, you can have a destination wedding of sorts! This couple had their wedding ceremony in Jakarta Cathedral, then their dinner reception the next day at The Edge Villas Uluwatu, Bali. Jakarta Cathedral, with its vaulted teakwood ceilings and sunlight streaming through long, narrow windows above the grand main altar, needed only minimal decorations. From the bride’s baby’s breath bouquet to the white-on-white floral pew hangers and textured white carpet, everything was kept simple. This allowed the grandeur of the venue to truly shine, lending an air of solemnity and awe to the proceedings. Many thanks to Illuminen Photography for sharing these wonderful photos…

A Tropical Glamour Cosy Beach Wedding in Uluwatu, Bali

Keeping things romantic and intimate yet glamorous, this bride and groom definitely infused their wedding with their personality, from the bride opting to wear a glitzy gold gown in lieu of a traditional white wedding dress to her bridesmaids wearing all-black gowns. Complementing the bride was the groom in his dark floral blazer, the groomsmen’s white shirts and leaf boutonnières, and the floral bouquets of tropical leafy greens and pineapples as aisle décor. We especially love the lush green wedding arch where the couple exchanged their vows in front of their close family and friends, overlooking the romantic beaches of Uluwatu. Many thanks to Terralogical Photography for this truly romantic…

A Simple Backyard Wedding In Bali

It is rare, very rare to have a bride tell us, “I didn’t want to make my wedding ‘something special’.” But when she began to explain, we understood why. Kimiyo didn’t want a wedding that just wow-ed and impressed people, she wanted a moment shared with her loved ones. That’s truly beautiful and we would love to see more weddings like this, because it’s heartbreaking when weddings become little more than just a show. Thanks, Evermotion, for capturing this amazing couple! Kimiyo: “I wanted it to feel very natural, as if we were in our home and had the ceremony in our own backyard. I shared my vision with my…
