A Sweet Pastel Outdoor Garden Wedding at Thistle Port Dickson

Outdoor weddings mean you’re at the mercy of unpredictable weather, and for this lucky couple, their wedding was blessed with last minute sunshine! They got to exchange their vows against the backdrop of a picturesque sunset by the beach, with the salty sea breeze and a beautiful flower arch. Pastel colours and florals added a sweet romantic touch to the décor, and we especially love the different bridesmaid dress styles. Many thanks to MunKeat Photography for capturing this beautiful garden wedding! May: “Every single thing was amazing and memorable! It was an outdoor wedding and forecasts from various sources indicated a thunderstorm for that day. The weather for the few…

    Timeless 1960s Oriental Bridal Portraits

There’s something unspeakably timeless about a vintage Oriental mood shoot, complete with elements of nostalgia and melodrama. Think Wong Kar Wai’s ‘In the Mood for Love’. From the soft mood lighting to the hair, makeup and wardrobe choices, this style is subtly romantic yet heavily dramatic. We love the hidden angles and muted tones; many thanks to Daren Chong Photography for this artistic set of bridal photographs! Retro Chic Bridal Portraits

We have a soft spot for creative bridal portraits that so clearly display the personality of the bride and groom, as well as their relationship with each other. This set of photos from Daren Chong Photography is no exception – it’s classic and elegant yet fun and quirky, just like the couple! While the groom is described as artistic and moody, the bride is described as fun and quirky. Put them together against any backdrop, be it industrial, rustic or Mother Nature, and the dynamics of their relationship shine through. Whether it’s their black and white portraits by the beach or the rustic elegant shoot with exposed brick walls, what’s…

Dreamy Nature Bridal Portraits in Shirakawa, Japan

Autumn shades are more than just breathtakingly beautiful; they also signify change, which makes them the best backdrop for a couple looking to document their own change of relationship status. We just can’t get enough of Mother Nature’s resplendent beauty, captured here in dreamy auburn colours and deep earth tones. Many thanks to Quarter A Photography for this gorgeous set of photos, which set the couple against the unspoiled backdrop of Shirakawa, Japan.

A Glitzy Gold Wedding At City Harvest Kuala Lumpur

High ceilings and exposed brick walls were the perfect contrasting background to the beautiful metal accents and glamorous glitter and gold. This wedding was the perfect combination of rustic and glamorous, with a long table setting replete with industrial cans of wildflowers and glass bottles. We especially loved the mismatched bridesmaids outfits, all of which were glittery and metallic but in a variety of dress lengths and colours. Many thanks to Bliss & Glitz and Catking Photography for capturing these details.

    Vintage Garden Wedding At Saujana

We understand it is not easy to juggle work and wedding planning, all the more so if you are many miles away from home. Bee Fong and Eu-Wing are both doctors based in the UK, and for them to have a wedding back here in Kuala Lumpur is definitely not an easy task. Thanks to Bee Fong’s sister and their wedding planner, however, the couple got to chill and cherish the moment with their loved ones. What a lovely garden wedding setup, generously filled with flowers and pretty details. The gorgeous arch beneath the tree, the cute little flowergirls who graced the aisle before the bride walked in… This is…

    A Colourful Splash

Not everyone can pull off a blue suit like this groom. Bernard, the actor from Ah Beng The Movie: Three Wishes, and Jo Lin both look great and so happy together. We love how the bursts of colour from the dresses and suit come together in the restaurant. The Speed Of Love

Many are the men who love fast cars and motor racing, but few (and lucky!) are those who find wives that share their passion. The fact that Claire was onboard to do a photoshoot like this with Paul makes this worth sharing.
