    Starting Out as Coffee Lovers

The new bridal photography trend of cinematography is fast catching on, and we can see why. This couple’s love story is made utterly captivating and enjoyable by the simple storyline and cinematic visuals. Thank you for this brilliant piece, Filming Art Cinematography! We found this couple so inspirational in how they were absolutely comfortable in their own skin before the camera, and we love their confidence. In a matter of minutes, the audience is given a glimpse into the origins of their love story, and… well, the rest, as they say, is history.

Calling fans of hit TV shows and movies like ‘Descendants of the Sun’ and ‘Café Waiting Love’,…

Conceptual Bridal Portraits: The Pilot And The Tailor

Sometimes you simply can’t put into words how much your love story takes your breath away, so these newlyweds took their bridal portraits and had them made into a movie. Using different photographs, this combination of cinematography and photography (adorably called “cinephotography”) took storytelling and bridal portraits to an inimitable space. The level of detail applied to the styling and costumes perfectly complemented the love these newlyweds have for each other. Watch: “The Pilot & The Tailor”, starring Jocelyn and Louis. Magical Outdoor Portraits in Japan

Clear skies and bright sunlight always make photographs appear fresh and inviting. Braving the biting cold of Mount Fuji, Lake Kawaguchiko and Tokyo in Japan, this couple was handsomely rewarded with beuatiful landscapes and awesome wedding portraits that they will enjoy forever. Look at the snow-carpeted fields with their tall, bald firs and cherry blossom trees in full bloom! This, along with the shots by the lake with majestic Mount Fuji in the background and those taken in eclectic Tokyo, collectively infuse the album with an unparalleled charm that is unique to Japan.

Many thanks for these amazing pictures, GMPS Wedding Film & Photography!

Shades of Fall: Engagement Session at the Blue Mountains

We can’t get enough of nature’s beautiful, rich tones, as found in this couple’s engagement session at the picturesque Dennarque Estate and Yengo Gardens, Australia. We appreciate how they kept their décor minimal, opting for just a few antique lamps so as to complement the natural surroundings of these privately owned estates in the Blue Mountains. “The gardens were exclusively hired for this couple so that they would feel very relaxed and comfortable walking among an endless sea of flowers and trees, just as though they were on a date,” says Evan Wang of Wedding Gallery Studio.

A Vibrant Tropical Rooftop Party At Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral

What’s better than a party filled with vibrant colours, whimsical elements and a tropical theme? A tropical wedding party, of course! From the gilded pineapples to the poolside elements and amenities, a pool party right in the heart of the city would be the perfect setting for you to celebrate with loved ones. Throw in refreshing cocktails, bottled beers and delicious bites, and you’ll have a party to remember. TWN had the honour of having the couple Nick Davis and Eunice Lew, both talented singers in their own right, with us for this shoot. They are witty and fun, and we had loads of laughs, especially while working on the…

A Warm, Earthy Garden Wedding At Gardens By The Bay, Singapore

We love it when we see a couple’s nuptials reflect their personality, and for Jason and Constance, their wedding showed their deep love for each other, their down-to-earth personalities and the joy they wanted to share with their loved ones. The bride knew that she wasn’t a traditional ‘girly’ bride and chose to don a two-piece with oxfords instead of the usual bridal gown and heels. We think she looks fantastic! Thanks to Samuel Goh Photography for capturing these special moments.

Blush Pink Chic Wedding at City Harvest Kuala Lumpur

Unfortunately, Malaysia’s (often uncomfortable) tropical weather just doesn’t lend itself well to outdoor celebrations. But with its expansive windows and high ceilings that added to the glamour and beauty of this ceremony, City Harvest KL is arguably the next best thing to an outdoor wedding. From the bridesmaids’ mismatched gold and glittery dresses and groomsmen’s dapper grey suits to the soft pink, white and green bridal bouquet, everything came together for this wedding, complementing each other perfectly. Just like the bride and groom. Thanks to Alextan Artworks for capturing this stylish and glamorous affair set up by Mint Events & Soirées.

This Guy Proposed With A Song Specially Written For Her

Every once in a while we hear songs that touch our heart, and this is one of them. Its lyrics and tune might be simple, but as they say, every word hides a story and every song has a soul. This is a recollection video of the proposal song about the couple’s love story, specially written by Matthew for Canny. Matt has always been good at expressing his love in words, as you can see from the many love letters he has written to Canny. The beginning of the song is about how they got to know each other at a friend’s wedding during the gatecrashing ceremony. He also recalls…

5 Reasons You Should Opt For A Lunch Reception

In conjunction with Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s new lunch wedding menu, here’s the second episode of The Wedding Stories Video. The lunch menu is brilliant, and we can totally foresee this becoming a trend soon. So many good ideas came up while we were thinking about why couples should opt for a lunch reception that we made a video about it. Thanks once again to the production team of Stories by Integricity, and to Celest Thoi for the short white gown. A lunch reception is the perfect occasion to wear a short dress! Great Storytelling With Colour Coordinated Outfits

An interesting location and the colour coordinated outfits make this set of photos worth mentioning. We love everything about it. Funky Dali, you’ve nailed it once again! Eunice: “We knew from day one that we weren’t going to play any videos at our wedding so we wanted our pre-wedding photos to tell a story. Plus we weren’t into the whole posing-for-hours-in-our-wedding-gear thing, especially not in our weather! “Funky Dali did an amazing job, coming up with the concept of breaking it all up into chapters that covered a little something about us as individuals and as a couple. They also managed to capture the whole he said/she said of how…

A Real Life Story Of Serendipity Remade

These things usually only happen in movies, which is why we felt that we really had to share this beautiful love story. Plus this video is very artistically and beautifully put together, from the location and set to the attire, mood and angles. Congrats on a great production, Shepherd Portraiture. And the photos look great too!
