Modern Meets Classic
The talented Adam Ong Photography recently flew out to London in Malaysia Airlines with a lucky WAF (Weddings.Arts.Fashion) winner for a post-wedding photoshoot. While there, they also visited the beautiful city of Bath, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site city. It’s the only place in the UK where you can bathe in natural hot spas and original Roman-style baths, making it the ultimate spa break destination. The group stayed at YTL’s new and first hotel in the UK, The Gainsborough Bath Spa – and we have the photos.

Rustic Industrial
At the recent WAF2015, Bliss & Glitz put together a romantic, rustic industrial look at Zebra Square, complete with a good mix of vintage furniture and beautiful blossoms. We totally adored the vintage décor, especially the mobile drinks station.

Bohemian Love
You might have noticed that the bohemian theme is a hot trend right now, even for bridal collections. Natasha from The Peak Xperience came up with this simple, lovely interpretation of the theme at WAF2015. She sure did a lot with just one corner, and we can only imagine how beautiful it would all look if she had a bigger space to work with.

Alia Bastamam 2015 Bridal Collection
Alia Bastamam’s new bridal collection might be a little different from her usual minimalist style, but as always, it still took our breath away. Inspired by the 1935 silent dance film ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, Bastamam’s latest gowns are light and youthful with a slightly whimsical feel, in a beautiful palette of white with shadows of dusty pink and champagne. “You finally get to be the princess you’ve always wanted to be,” explains Bastamam. “That’s why I decided to have a fairytale back story and make the collection ethereal – it’s definitely a bit more extravagant than usual.” Hand-sewn embellishments add sparkle and a hint of bohemian charm, while elements…

Celest Thoi Debuts Ready-To-Wear Bridesmaid Dresses Collection
In addition to the Celest Thoi 2015 Bridal Collection, last weekend also saw the label launch its inaugural bridesmaid collection, Celest Thoi Entourage. Combining comfort and practicality with Thoi’s trademark timeless and elegant strokes, the collection is inspired by the soft colours and texture of the hydrangea flower, with each gown featuring delicate tulle and chiffon to create a flowing, ethereal impression. And on a more daring note, Thoi is introducing black gowns too. Celest Thoi 2015 Bridal Collection
Established in November 2011, Celest Thoi might be one of the youngest labels in the bridal industry, but it is certainly making an impact. For her latest bridal collection, Thoi collaborated with Swarovski Crystal, keeping with her design mantra of using only the finest materials. “Working with Swarovski elements made my creativity and imagination come alight,” she revealed. “I loved experimenting with the infinite combination of designs made possible with Swarovski, complemented with lace and tulle. For this collection, I’ve created six gowns that I am truly proud of. They are carefully and strategically peppered with Swarovski to play with the light, accentuating my bride’s feminine contours with a balanced…

Jessicacindy 2015 Bridal Collection
Showcasing her bridal collection in Malaysia for the very first time, Jessicacindy presented a truly stunning collection of gowns at last weekend’s WAF2015. Inspired by the ethereal beauty found in nature, the collection is subdued yet elegant in silhouette, emphasising the sensuality of a woman’s curves. Romantic and surreal, it pays homage to the brilliance and lushness of nature through intricate fabric weaves and beadwork. As Jessicacindy explained: “The collection was about bringing out a woman’s inner goddess through works shaped by the elements of Mother Nature. They are dreamy, exquisite and romanticised – that is the Jessicacindy trademark.” Bridal Gowns by Jessicacindy / Runway Photos Funkydali / Hair by…
