Taking its name from the old Malay expression ‘sejauh di sana’ – meaning as far as the eye can see – The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur is a place where comfort, scenic beauty and unconditional privacy abound. Nestled amidst 160 hectares of lush tropical gardens, this 355-room retreat is adjoined by the two 18-hole championship golf courses of Saujana Golf & Country Club, making it a haven for business and pleasure. Facilities of this well-appointed resort include extensive dining choices, practical function areas, numerous meeting room options and a host of delightful recreational activities to suit every traveller’s needs.
Layout and Capacity
The Saujana Kuala Lumpur Ballroom can accommodate up to 30 tables, and includes a foyer where pre-wedding drinks are served. A minimum booking of 200 persons is needed to secure the ballroom. Alternatively, the Zamrud room fits 180 guests seated in banquet style and a minimum of 120 guests is required to use this room.

Garden Wedding at Saujana Hotel KL
The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur is also featured as one of the 12 hotels with outdoor spaces to have your outdoor ceremony. It has a perfect garden where 2 large trees flank either side, providing much needed shade for the Malaysian weather with the lake view at the end, which makes for the ideal spot to land an archway for the exchanging of vows. To book the garden, a minimum of 80 guests are required, and the maximum capacity is at 150. An alternative function room will be prepared in the event of rain.
Ti Chen Chinese Restaurant
Another option at the Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur is its photogenic Ti Chen Chinese Restaurant, as featured in our 15 best looking chinese restaurant for your wedding. This restaurant is located lake-side, with wooden framed floor to ceiling windows lending it to a boathouse feel, with its inside tastefully decorated with elegant oriental pieces.
This restaurant can fit up to 12 tables and guests can have cocktails at the deck overlooking the waters before dinner. The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations and is scheduled to reopen its doors in October 2022. So do contact them towards the end of the year to ask about wedding packages for 2023.
