Keeping their wedding cosy and in the family (with the right amount of social distancing, of course), these newlyweds tied the knot right by the bride’s parents’ home, at the Merlin Pavilion in the Compostela municipality of Cebu, an island in central Philippines.
The groom was decked out in a dapper black tux while his resplendent bride stunned in a beautiful off-shoulder, knee-length dress. It was an intimate affair indeed as they exchanged vows in the company of just 10 guests, wearing his and hers facemasks! Many thanks to Helium Hearts for this sweet set of bridal photos.
Marlon Capuyan of Helium Hearts: “Too many plans have been put on hold because of this pandemic. One of them was Tada and Naia’s plan to get married in May. But this tenacious couple refused to be side-tracked by the virus and decided to wed, albeit in a simple civil ceremony. With just their immediate family members in attendance, strict implementation of social distancing and the wearing of face masks, love definitely triumphed on that beautiful day. The preparations and the reception were both held at the bride’s beautiful provincial home. It was surreal to shoot a wedding that looked like it was from our parents’ era. This was definitely one for the history books!”
