It was their mutual love for classical music and the outdoors that made Pulai Spring Resort Johor an easy yes for this handsome couple. “From the moment we set foot in it actually,” the bride, Michelle, shared.
Set on a golf course, the resort features a vast expanse of greenery, providing the couple with the canvas they had always envisioned for their wedding. Theming the affair “Rustic Garden”, they ornamented the pretty lawn with a palette of pink and pastels, plus hints of gold for a romantic touch.
“Hani, our florist, did a fantastic job making our day beautiful,” said Michelle. And for the proverbial cherry on top, the newlyweds marched out to the melodious tune of ‘Viva la Vida’, played by the popular string quartet Dimento. Thanks for these awesome pictures, Louis Gan Photography!
Tips from the bride: “Weddings are stressful affairs, with everyone offering their different opinions. Listen, but stay true to your heart, as it’s your wedding after all. It is also important to stay grounded, as there’s no end to the choices for each decision that you have to make. Do not fall into the trap of overspending, thinking it’s a ‘once in a lifetime’ event. Straighten out your priorities, budget more for what’s important, and cut down on those that are less important. Lastly but most importantly, enjoy the day!”
