We really appreciated the grace and strength of character exhibited by this amazing group of people. Looking at these images, one could not have imagined the number of things that went wrong on this couple’s wedding day, but just look at them – everyone is all smiles! Thank you for capturing all that joy and laughter, Twins Photography. Also, check out the couple’s bridal portraits album that was shot in India.
The groom recalled several hilarious incidents on his wedding day, like when the bridal car arrived at the bride’s without him, and then the door of the school bus they had hired wouldn’t open so everyone was stuck inside for 15 minutes. The school bus also broke down after picking the bride up. At any rate, they enjoyed having the school bus, as the newlyweds had met in secondary school. “Besides, the two-door Mercedes bus is kind of cool, just like a two-door sports sedan,” he said.
With the bus broken down, the couple were way behind schedule, but instead of throwing a fit, the groom’s parents simply came up with a new plan – they would drive over to the bus and get everyone. We love a family that keeps their cool when things go wrong on the wedding day, and we’ve seen enough weddings to know that great friends and a dedicated crew like that are essential to a memorable wedding. Here’s to a lifetime of friendship and laughter for the newlyweds!
